I used to think manifestation was all vision boards and wishful thinking.
You know the drill: cut out pictures of your dream life, paste them on a board, stare at it occasionally, and wait for the universe to deliver.
Except... nothing happened. I'd make the vision board with all the enthusiasm, hang it up, and then three months later realize I hadn't looked at it once. My life looked exactly the same.
It wasn't until I discovered manifestation journaling that everything shifted.
Not because journaling is "magic" (though sometimes it feels that way). But because it gave me a daily practice to actually connect with what I wanted, reprogram my subconscious beliefs, and embody the version of myself who already had it.
Manifestation journaling changed my life. Not overnight. Not in some dramatic lightning-bolt moment. But gradually, consistently, undeniably.
And if you're someone who's tried manifestation before and felt like it "didn't work"—or if you're brand new to this and skeptical—I want to show you why journaling is the missing piece.

Why Manifestation Journaling Actually Works (When Other Methods Don't)
Here's the problem with most manifestation practices: they're passive.
You visualize. You affirm. You think positive thoughts. And then... you go about your day the exact same way you always have.
Manifestation journaling is different because it's active. You're not just thinking about what you want—you're processing your resistance to it, reprogramming your subconscious beliefs about it, and embodying the feeling of already having it.
Here's what happens when you journal for manifestation:
You get your subconscious on board. Your subconscious mind is running 95% of your life. It's formed from every experience, message, and belief you've absorbed over the years. And if your subconscious doesn't believe you can have what you want—or doesn't believe you're worthy of it—you'll sabotage yourself every time. Journaling helps you see those limiting beliefs and rewrite them.
You process resistance in real time. Every time you sit down to journal about what you want, resistance comes up. Fear. Doubt. "But what if it doesn't work?" Journaling lets you release that resistance instead of letting it fester in the background, blocking your manifestation.
You embody the feeling before it happens. Manifestation isn't about attracting things—it's about becoming the version of yourself who already has them. When you journal from that place (as if it's already real), you start showing up differently. And that's when your external reality shifts.
You create clarity and momentum. You can't manifest what you don't have clarity on. Journaling forces you to get specific about what you want and why you want it. And that clarity creates momentum.
This is why manifestation journaling works when other practices fall flat. It's not passive. It's transformational.

My Signature Manifestation Journaling Method (The One I Use Every Single Day)
I've tried a lot of manifestation techniques over the years. Some felt too woo-woo. Some felt too rigid. Some felt like I was just going through the motions.
Then I developed my own method—one that combines subconscious work, embodiment, and practical action. And it's the method I teach all my clients because it actually creates results.
Here's how it works:
Step 1: Set Your Intention (The Ask)
Start by getting clear on what you're calling in. What do you want to manifest?
This could be big (a new career, a life pivot, financial freedom) or small (a peaceful day, clarity on a decision, a specific opportunity).
Write it down as a clear intention:
"I'm calling in clarity on my next career move." "I'm manifesting a life that feels aligned and fulfilling." "I'm creating more financial ease and freedom."
Don't overthink this. Just name what you want. The intention sets the direction for your journaling practice.
Step 2: Release (The Mind Dump)
This is the step most people skip—and it's the most important one.
Before you can connect with what you want, you have to release what's in the way.
So dump it all on the page. The doubts. The fears. The "but what ifs." The resistance. The limiting beliefs that are screaming "this won't work for you."
Write it ALL out. No filter. No judgment.
"I don't even know if this is possible for me." "What if I make the wrong decision?" "I'm scared I'm going to fail."
This isn't manifestation yet—this is clearing space. You can't embody your future self when your current self is drowning in fear and doubt. So release it first.
Step 3: Visualization (Connect With Your Future Self or Manifestation Coming Through)
Now that you've released the resistance, it's time to connect.
Close your eyes for a moment. Take a few deep breaths.
Visualize your manifestation as if it's already happened. See yourself living it. Feel it in your body.
Or connect with your future self—the version of you who already has what you want. What does she look like? How does she carry herself? How does she feel?
Then open your eyes and write from that place. Describe what you see. Write in present tense, as if it's already real.
"I wake up excited about my work. I feel aligned and fulfilled. I'm surrounded by people who support me. I trust myself completely."
This is embodiment. You're not waiting for it to happen—you're becoming the version of yourself who already has it. And that's when your external reality starts to shift.
Step 4: Gratitude (Present Self AND Future Self)
Gratitude is the fastest way to shift your energy from lack to abundance.
Write down 3-5 things you're grateful for RIGHT NOW. Not someday. Not when your manifestation shows up. Today.
This grounds you in what's already working in your life.
Then—and this is key—write gratitude AS your future self. Thank the universe (or God, or yourself, or however you frame it) for the manifestation that's already come through.
"Thank you for the clarity I now have on my path." "I'm so grateful for the aligned opportunities that have shown up." "Thank you for helping me trust myself through this transition."
This tells your subconscious: this is already done. We're not hoping for it. We're grateful it's already here.
Step 5: End With Excitement
Finish your practice by anchoring into a positive, elevated emotion.
Write about something you're looking forward to. Something that lights you up. Something that makes you feel alive.
This could be related to your manifestation or not—it doesn't matter. The goal is to end your journaling session in a high-vibe emotional state.
"I'm so excited to see how this unfolds." "I can't wait to look back on this moment and see how far I've come." "I'm excited about the version of myself I'm becoming."
This emotional anchor is what you carry into your day. And when you consistently practice ending on excitement, you start to rewire your nervous system to expect good things.

Other Manifestation Journaling Methods to Try
My signature method is what I use daily, but there are other powerful manifestation journaling techniques you might want to explore:
Scripting
This is where you write out your ideal day, week, or life as if it's already happening—like you're writing a movie script.
"I wake up at 7 AM feeling rested and excited. I make my coffee and sit down to work on a project I love. At noon, I get a message about an incredible opportunity..."
The key is to write in present tense with as much sensory detail as possible. What do you see, hear, feel, taste, smell? The more vivid, the more your subconscious believes it's real.
Future Self Letter
Write yourself a letter from your future self—the version of you who's already living your dream life.
"Hey, it's you from 2027. I just want you to know that everything you're worried about right now? It all worked out. Here's what happened..."
Let your future self tell you what to do, what to release, what to trust. This taps into your subconscious wisdom and gives you guidance you didn't know you had.
The 10-Year Time Capsule
This one's powerful (and a little magical).
Write down everything you want to happen in the next 10 years as if it's already happened. Go wild. Don't edit. Don't worry about "how."
"I built a business I love. I traveled to 15 countries. I wrote a book. I created financial freedom. I feel deeply fulfilled..."
Then fold it up, hide it somewhere, and forget about it. The act of writing it and releasing it tells your subconscious: this is the plan. Now let's make it happen.
Daily Manifestation Lists
Keep it simple: every morning or night, write down 5-10 things you're manifesting in present tense.
"I am living in alignment with my values." "I am surrounded by supportive, inspiring people." "I am financially abundant and secure."
Repetition rewires your subconscious. When you write the same desires over and over, your brain starts to believe them—and then you start acting like someone who already has them.
What Makes Manifestation Journaling Different From Regular Journaling
People ask me this all the time: "Isn't this just... journaling?"
Yes and no.
Regular journaling is processing. Reflecting. Working through your thoughts and feelings. It's powerful—but it's past or present-focused.
Manifestation journaling is future-focused. You're not just processing what happened. You're actively creating what's next.
You're reprogramming your subconscious. You're embodying your future self. You're shifting your energy from "I wish I had this" to "I already have this."
It's not just reflection—it's transformation.

How Long Does It Take to See Results?
Here's the honest answer: it depends.
Some women journal for a week and have a massive breakthrough. Some take a month. Some take three months before they look back and realize how much has shifted.
But here's what I know for sure: consistency matters more than intensity.
Journaling for 10 minutes every day will create more change than journaling for an hour once a month.
Because manifestation isn't about one perfect practice. It's about showing up, day after day, and doing the inner work. That's when your external reality starts to shift.
And when it does? You won't be able to deny it. You'll look back and think "wait, how did this happen?" And you'll realize: it happened because you became the version of yourself who was ready for it.
Why This Practice Changed My Life (And Why It Can Change Yours Too)
Before I started manifestation journaling, I was stuck.
I knew I wanted something different, but I couldn't name what it was. I felt disconnected from myself. I was overwhelmed by limiting beliefs I didn't even know I had.
Journaling gave me a way to work through all of that. To see the resistance. To reprogram the beliefs. To connect with the version of myself I was becoming.
And slowly—really slowly at first—things started to shift.
I gained clarity on what I wanted. I started making decisions from alignment instead of fear. I built a life and a business that actually feel like mine.
Not because I wrote things down and they magically appeared. But because journaling helped me become the version of myself who was capable of creating them.
That's the power of this practice.
It's not about tricking the universe. It's about transforming yourself.
Start Today (You Don't Need to Be "Good" at Journaling)
You don't need a fancy journal. You don't need perfect handwriting. You don't need to know exactly what you're doing.
You just need to start.
Grab a notebook. Set a timer for 10 minutes. Use my signature method or try one of the other techniques I shared.
Write messy. Write honest. Write like no one will ever read it (because they won't).
The magic isn't in doing it perfectly. The magic is in showing up consistently and doing the inner work.
And if you want support as you build this practice? If you want someone to guide you through the subconscious blocks and help you embody your future self?
That's exactly what I'm here for.
